On-Board Food Services Offer Convenience

For your convenience, Amtrak California offers food and beverages on all routes. 

On San Joaquin and Capitol Corridor trains, the Café Car is located on the upper level. The Café Car offers a variety of sandwiches, salads, snacks, treats and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. 

On Pacific Surfliner trains, the SeaView Café is located on the lower level.  The SeaView Café offers light snacks and non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. 

Food and beverages may be purchased on-board and consumed in the Café Car or at your seat. The Café Car accepts cash and most major credit cards.

New Summer Menu Features Seasonal, Fresh Fare

This summer, Amtrak California is kicking it up a notch with a myriad of seasonal sandwiches and salads available on a rotational basis on the San Joaquin and Capitol Corridor routes. Changing selections include items like Chicken Caesar Salad, Mozzarella Basil Tomato Wrap, Hot Pressed Cuban Sandwich and Lemon Pepper Tuna Salad Sandwich. Be sure to ask your on-board attendant about daily featured items.

Personal Food and Beverages On-Board

You may bring your own food on-board and consume it at your seat. However, per health and safety regulations, preparation and consumption of personal food is not permitted in the Café Car. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed on-board only if purchased in the Café Car. Consumption of personal alcohol is not permitted on-board.
