Multiple Ride Tickets
Amtrak California now offers regular riders on in-state trains two multiple-ride ticket plans. Either plan is tailored to a different type of traveler, but both offers substantial savings over regular one-way or round trip tickets.
MONTHLY PASS: Unlimited travel between any two stations or intermediate points for an entire calendar month. Tickets are good on any Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, San Joaquin or Capitol train or bus-train combination, seven days a week, but must be used by the original purchaser.
TEN RIDE / 45 DAY TICKET: This ticket plan allows travel ten times in either direction within 45 days of purchase between the two destinations specified. It replaces the 10 day and 90 day ten ride tickets. Tickets are good on any Amtrak California Pacific Surfliner, San Joaquin or Capitol Corridor train seven days a week, with NO BLACKOUT DAYS. The ticket may be used by the purchaser or anyone holding the ticket, including groups traveling together. The conductor punches the ticket once for each person traveling in the group.
