San Joaquins

The San Joaquin Route lies in a generally north-south direction in central California linking Bakersfield and the Bay Area with stops in Fresno and Stockton and Sacramento. Amtrak motor coaches connect the San Joaquins to Reno and Carson City Nevada, to Redding and Red Bluff, to Yosemite National Park, to the Northwest California Coast including Eureka, to the Central Coast and San Luis Obispo, and to Los Angeles and many other locations in Southern California.
