This summer, Yosemite Area Regional Transit Service will make a through connection (with a layover in Yosemite National Park) from the Merced Amtrak Station to Mammoth Lakes on the east side of the Sierra Nevada.
The schedule permits several hours of visitation in Yosemite Park before continuing on to the ends of the route.

NOTE SCHEDULE
May 31-June 29, 2008 -- service operates SATURDAY AND SUNDAY only
July 1-August 31, 2008 -- service runs daily
September 6-28, 2008 -- service operates SATURDAY AND SUNDAY only

Highway 120 is generally closed during winter months.
