On weekends and holidays only, three of Amtrak California's Pacific Surfliner trains stop briefly at Old Town San Diego. If you wish to use this station, be sure to check the days and dates you are planning to travel.
Not all Surfliner trains stop at this station, even on weekends. Northbound, trains number 785, 587, and 591 stop at Old Town. Southbound, trains number 564, 566, and 768 stop at Old Town.
This stop is a major transportation junction, with many local bus routes and the San Diego Trolley stopping here. The stop is adjacent to Old Town State Historical Park, and is the connecting point for nearby sports stadia.
