The Van Nuys FlyAway provides convenient non-stop shuttle service between Van Nuys Airport and the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). FlyAway Shuttles are also available from Union Station to LAX and Westwood to LAX.
New FlyAway fares become effective January 1, 2009, and include a new lower rate for seniors 65 years and older. Children under age 2 ride for free.

Travel time: Depending on traffic conditions, travel times each way can range from 35-60 minutes.
Parking: Parking is available at the FlyAway Terminal in the long-term parking lot and parking structure by entering on Woodley Avenue. The daily rate is $4, with a 30-day limit. Payment is accepted using cash and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express). Parking can be limited during peak travel periods. The parking garage is patrolled regularly by security officers.
Facilities: FlyAway Terminal has low-cost parking which Amtrak passengers may use, a staffed waiting room with vending machines, restrooms and telephones -- including direct telephones to car rental agencies. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days per week.
Amtrak Thruway Bus service is available at the Van Nuys FlyAway with connections to and from San Joaquin trains at Bakersfield.
The nearest Amtrak Train Station is the Van Nuys Amtrak/Metrolink station located at 7724 Van Nuys Boulevard, Van Nuys, CA 91405. Amtrak Thruway Bus Route 1c provides bus service from Bakersfield to Torrance with stops at Lebec, Santa Clarita, Burbank (Airport), Van Nuys Amtrak Station, UCLA, El Segundo and Torrance. Passengers can connect to Pacific Surfliner and Metrolink trains at Burbank and Van Nuys.
